A game full of charming dialogue, beautiful art, and many many spittoons. West of Loathing is a slapstick-figure adventure RPG, set in a fantasy western frontier damned by vengeful cow demons, unintelligible goblins, and more snakes than you could reasonably fit into a boot, you saddle up a steed of yer choosin’ and embark on a hilarious journey of do-gooding and meat collecting. Every aspect of West of Loathing is absolutely hilarious, even the main menu has its own little jokes if you click around enough. In fact anywhere a joke could fit, the writers crammed one in. Funny names and descriptions aside, this game also delivers on being entertaining, and re-playable. Difficult by no means, but requiring just a bit of strategy in combat. Deceptively simple looking, there is FAR more to West of Loathing than meets the eye.
